  1. This looks so awesome! I’ve wanted to start a role playing group for a while now!

    1. I’m in the U.S. Navy currently stationed in Jacksonville Florida. This would be awesome to play with friends and start a group going in my barracks. Plus would be a great birthday present for myself coming up next Tuesday. Hooyah!

  2. Do we have the carrying capacity for this much loot? Pffft! What am I saying? Who pays attention to carrying capacity?

  3. Looks great, haven’t done much gaming (outside of a console:)) since my early 80’s D & D days.

  4. I love the artwork they use for Pathfinder. Ten times better than anything DC or Marvel can put out.

  5. We recently started a neighborhood campaign of Pathfinder. This would be really helpful in building our gaming resources.

  6. I’ve really been wanting to get started in Pathfinder, this sounds like a good way!

  7. This is an awesome giveaway and my RPG supplies are in desperate need of upgrading!

  8. All that stuff looks SO awesome. I love fantasy and have wanted to for some time now to get into D&D and roleplaying 🙂

  9. Excellent! We’ve been playing the adventure card game, and I’m intrigued by the world.

  10. I would love to give these to my autisic son. Just the kind of thing he likes.

  11. Wish there were a contest for a full set of the Pathfinder Tales novels. Perhaps with the stipulation that you name a specific library to which they prize would be awarded. 🙂

  12. I played D&D 40 years ago. I have been thinking about getting back to the genre.

  13. The primary game I run with my gaming group. One of a kind. Nothing like it.

  14. Played Pathfinder for the first time at UK Games Expo in Birmingham last weekend. Great game! Joined Pathfinders straight away. Really want to play more soon, this would be mightily handy!

  15. The Beginner’s Box is a great way to learn the game! It is a “rules-lite” version of Pathfinder, designed with new players in mind and a “must-have” for starting GMs intimidated by the 500+ page Core Rulebook!

I have yet to be disappointed by ANY of the Pathfinder Tales books from Dave Gross. Varian and Radovan are an interesting duo, and reading their adventures, each from their own perspective, is always a joy. I find these books very reminiscent of Fritz Leiber’s Fafhred and the Grey Mouser and recommend them to everyone!

  16. I would love to have starter set for the group I’m in to help interested potential players have an easy starting point.

  17. When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol’ Jack Burton always says at a time like that: “Have ya paid your dues, Jack?” “Yessir, the check is in the mail.”

  18. Oh, yes please! I’d love to win. I’m reading a Pathfinder novel right now. My first venture into Pathfinder. It is LIAR’S BLADE by Tim Pratt and it’s a lot of fun to read.

  19. Both great authors and the beginner’s box is amazing and always wanted to own my own copy.

  20. Love the game, and love Dave’s work. Strongly support him and encourage others to give his titles a read.

  21. Love this, TOR and Paizo are two of my favorite publishers and they are a natural fit!

  22. I love this so much! There’s nothing like creating opportunities for new gamers to join the game! I hope I win! 😀

  23. I run a game for 7 teenagers (including my 13 year old son Caeden) and my 5 year old son Ronan. Ronan has decided after attending the last day of Paizocon, that he wants to work for Paizo, and he wants to GM Pathfinder games for the rest of us. He can’t read yet, but his creativity is off the charts.
“Dad! DAD!!! Okay, so Mohs is going to do two, not one, but TWO flips, slide under the skeleton’s legs, and Burning Hands his testicles!”

I’m encouraging his plans, so I’ll do the reading for him until he gets it down, and I’ll be his co-GM. He’ll do all the decision-making.

But this would be a great place to start. His own Beginner Box? He’s be in HEAVEN.

  24. Ping! Thanks for the opportunity. Pathfinder is one of my favorite D&D variants, and I’d love to use this to introduce new players to the game.

  25. I’ve played several versions of D&D but have always wanted to try pathfinder. This could be my chance!

  28. I think this is a great sweepstakes and even if you have played for a while it is a nice carrot to put in front of your friends to get them to start.

  29. I’ve just started running games with my group. Would live to do a Pathfinder campaign

  30. “Comment”. Am I doing this right?

But seriously, cool offer! Everyone should have a chance to play some Pathfinder.

  31. Pathfinder was my daughter’s introduction to rpgs. I’d love to be able to give her her own set of books.

  32. Winning that would be great! Just moved with a 2 year old and had a newborn, so I need a new set so I can form a new group here in Delaware!

  33. What a great contest! The minis alone are worth entering for. I’ll cross my fingers, and cross promote if I win 😉

    Good luck everyone

  46. I’ve wanted this since I first found tabletop and pathfinder. But real life and the costs to live it always come first. Nice thing you’re doing here. Thank you.

  47. Just got into D&D Next. Pathfinder would round off my intro. Eheheheheh

  48. we’ve been trying to start up and pass this great experience to our kids. Have a group of adults trying to learn the Pathfinder vs. D&D and a few of our kids ages 10-13. So far we’ve been using some of the society pdf games, it would be awesome to win this!

  49. I’ve dabbled at GMing, and would like to do more. This would be perfect! Consider this my entry.

  50. I’ve been playing pathfinder for a month or so now, just using the online resources. I’m a gigantic fan of the pathfinder art and style though, i’ve been wanting to add the sourcebooks to my library for awhile now. Roleplaying just isn’t the same without a physical rulebook and illustrations!

  61. I have played D&D for awhile but have been wanting to try Pathfinder.

  62. My son is just getting into role playing games, I’m sure he’d love to try this.

  63. Great prize pack; I’d love to use that boxed set to introduce new payers to Pathfinder!

  64. Story time with Dave.

Long ago, in a far off mystical desert I was married. I began my first forays into Pathfinder with my ex-wife. Almost ten years later in a new wonderful relationship, these games, as well as many others, have gotten me through the worst parts of my life and been there for the best times. I think that spreading that is the most important and wonderful thing anyone can do. I would love to win these products, as they are conspicuously absent from my shelves. However, no matter who wins, this is a wonderful thing to do and I am filled with joy to see it happening.

  65. I learned how to RPG way back with original (pre-A) D&D and still love it. My daughter and her friends play Pathfinder, and say it’s the best thing going out there! I’d love to find out for myself! My wife has never, ever played a RPG. Time she learned!

  66. I’m starting a campaign soon, and this would definitely help the new members to learn how to play! Plus a few goodies for myself! =P
